And... ... ... NEW UFC Middleweight Champion, Chris Weidman! Yeah, you could say UFC 162 didn't go how most thought it would. Anderson Silva who was once (and still arguably) one of the best P4P fighters in MMA, couldn't defend his Middleweight belt against title challenger Chris Weidman. Weidman won via KO at 1:18 of round 2. Frankie Edgar returned to the win column after defeating Charles Oliveira via unanimous decision in a Featherweight co-main event fight. Middleweight Tim Kennedy won a rather boring UFC debut fight against Roger Gracie by unanimous decision. Mark Munoz showed why he is still a force to be reckoned with in the Middleweight division. Munoz dominated Tim Boetsch to win a unanimous decision. Cub Swanson and Dennis Siver kicked off the main card with what most would say was the best fight on the card. Swanson started slow but ended up coming back and TKOing Siver at 2:24 of round 3.

In the main event of Cage Warriors 56, Welterweight Bola Omoyele (former TUF "The Smashes competitor) defeated Vincent Del Guerra via TKO at 3:21 of round 1.

Ronda Rousey is set to defend her Women's Bantamweight title against Miesha Tate at UFC 168 (year end event).

Renan Barao and Eddie Wineland will fight for the interim belt after all. The two Bantamweights will be the co-main event at UFC 165.
